The owner, Jeff Rushing, has a long history in the brake and suspension field. Redding
Wheel and Brake was started by his father, Jim Rushing and grew into our state-of-the art
facility we have today. Customer Service, loyalty, honesty and family values have always
been the priorities and cornerstones of our business.
Jeff has been automotive technician specializing in brakes and suspensions since 1988. He
started his career by earning his Toyota Master Technician Certificate. He then moved to
Nissan/Hyundai/Volvo and Suzuki dealership where he increased his knowledge and experience
by working on a wider variety of vehicles. After several years he left the corporate
environment to work side by side with his father to build the family business.
Jeff Rushing has been involved in motorsports and vintage cars since childhood. He has
raced everything from Outlaw Dirt Karts, Street Stocks, Bombers up to Super Late Models.
As the owner and driver of many race cars and vintage cars Jeff is usually the chief
person responsible for maintaining the vehicles in the best condition.
Jeff is passing his racing knowledge on to his young racing team. As crew chief and main
mechanic he is teaching Zackary and Keyler both the technical side and sportsmanship
aspects of racing. Both boys race Outlaw Dirt Sprint Karts (qrc, rbo, cycleland). His
racing experience at Shasta Speedway and Shasta Raceway Park tuned his skills for
optimizing performance brake systems. He uses these skills on all his clients - from Mini
Vans to European sportscars.
